The Tuttle-Click Story begins in 1923 when Holmes P. Tuttle started an adventurous journey from Oklahoma to California. After hitchhiking and jumping on trains, he made it to California and began working in the Parts Department of a Ford Dealership in Los Angeles. Twenty-three years later, he opened his first dealership.
By the mid-1960s, he owned multiple dealerships and both his son, Robert Tuttle, and grand-nephew, James Click, Jr., were members of his Sales Team. The two competed fiercely, propelling both of them to success. In 1977, Bob and Jim decided to harness their competitive natures and complementary personalities to create Tuttle-Click Automotive Group.
Today, Tuttle-Click Automotive Group has 15 dealerships representing nine manufacturers and 13 makes in California and Arizona. Although Tuttle-Click Automotive Group has grown significantly over the years, we are proud to have maintained our privately-owned family business status.
We attribute the success of our organization to the experience and integrity of our dedicated Team Members, from lot attendants to owners, as well as to the loyalty of our valued customers.
We went to almost every Hyundai dealership in Orange County before we ended up here at Tuttle-Click Hyundai. They, by far, were the most professional, transparent, and easy to work with.
Aldo greeted us before we even got to the door. He and Blair (sales manager) worked with the budget we got to get us into our new 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0T. They didn't make us feel guilty or cheated like the other dealerships we previously visited. Once we got to financing, Amid (not sure if I spelled his name correctly) was very thorough in explaining all of the warranties and laws that go into buying this car. That has not happened to me before. Well not at Honda when I bought one 3 years ago. No fine print was left out in our conversation. I used to work for a law office that handles with a lot of car dealership lawsuits so I KNOW this is so important for new buyers to know. Of course they have to up-sell us on all the extra stuff but we weren't pressured AT ALL. Lets face it, everyone is excited to get into a new car. So besides that fact, the experience from the dealership, salesperson, financial department, and management is important. A personable staff that can give the customer a no haggle reason to look at all the options available is important. Sure you can get that somewhere else but I found the salesman, Ken, to be the guy for me. He had all the answers and even asked me questions about my needs before suggesting an option. I had my mind set on an SUV and chose the Palisade for a test drive. I got more than I bargained for, price and options are perfect.
So consider the experience... if you are savvy about credit you should know your score walking into anything; including the options, payments and bottom line walking out. That’s me, I am walking in with my credit score, providing it to the financial department and ensuring I want what they are selling. That’s exactly what I got, the numbers were right, the options were there and the incentives put pen to paper.
Overall perfect is an understatement of experience, everyone took care of me and answered all questions I needed answered. That’s why 5 out of 5 stars to me, is an understatement of my impression of the team at Hyundai of Tuttle-Click Irvine. Superior Salesmanship, Exceptional Financial Department, No Hassle Management, and a comfortable clean environment.

It was time for my vehicle’s first maintenance visit. Practicing “stay-at-home” I was concerned about going to the dealership. Imagine my delight upon visiting the Tuttle-Click Hyundai website and discovering their pickup and delivery option! I spoke to my advisor Adrian who set it up for me. Matt picked up my vehicle and in about an hour and a half returned it to me servicing complete. Now that’s five-star service! Thank you Tuttle-Click Hyundai!
